Bogenfels Arch

NABS member Ray Millar, standing on the apex of Bogenfels Arch, provides scale for this large arch on the coast near Luderitz in the southern African country of Namibia. The arch is located in a restricted diamond area so visits can only be arranged through Kolmanskop Tours in Luderitz. The area is extremely windy and subject to morning coastal fog which often clears by noon, so the arch is best photographed in the afternoon. There are three other sea arches nearby.
