Example Pillar Natural Arch
NABSQNO 12S-680865-4333983. This unnamed pillar natural arch is sometimes refered to as Bullhead Arch. It is located in Mee Canyon several miles west of Colorado National Monument. Mee Canyon flows into the Colorado River just before it crosses the border with Utah. Because the lintel is fractured near the base, this pillar arch might be considered old. It has a height of approximately 20 feet.
The arch is roughly 300 meters north of the famous Will Minor Arch. Because this is a wilderness study area, access is very difficult. Check with the BLM in Grand Junction for a permit and directions to Will Minor Arch.
