Example Cave Natural Arch

NABSQNO 12S-615462-4273188. This unnamed arch is an old cave natural arch. It could easily be considered a pothole arch, but the shape of the cavity behind the arch is more likely a cave remnant than a pothole. Disagreements are certainly possible. It is located in Little Canyon not far from Moab, Utah. The arch is reached via a 4WD road that leaves US 191 north of Moab and scales the side of a redrock cliff to access the mouth of Little Canyon. The vistas are exceptional.
