Example Propped Natural Arch
NABSQNO 12S-331138-4122788. Jug Handle Arch is a propped natural arch weathered in Navajo sandstone. The opening is slotted and the vertical lintel rests up against the adjacent cliff.
Jug Handle Arch is visible to the north from a turnout on the park road through Zion National Park about 2 miles west of the east park entrance.
