It is located in Coconino National Forest, about 6 miles northwest of Sedona, Yavapai County, Arizona. Access is via a confusing and very rough set of Forest Service roads, followed by an easy hike of about .7 mile. Vreeland listed Fay Canyon Arch as 12-22 in his catalog and reported a span of 94 feet.
