NABSQNO 12S-483910-4054225. Sitting Lizard Arch is a shelter natural arch eroded through Navajo sandstone. It is located about a half mile east of Horsethief Mesa within the Navajo Nation, in Coconino County, Arizona. A distant view of the arch can be obtained at milemarker 326.6 along State Highway 98. A guide must be used for a closer visit. Vreeland listed Sitting Lizard Arch as number 12-15 in his catalog and reported a span of 30 feet.
