NABSQNO 12S-662460-4062690. Blackhorse Arch is a shelter natural arch eroded through a ridge of Wingate sandstone. It is located about 8 miles north of Cove in Apache County, Arizona. Because it is within the boundaries of the Navajo Nation, non-Navajos must obtain the services of a guide to visit the arch. Vreeland listed Blackhorse Arch in his catalog as number 11-2, and reported a span of 30 feet.
