Tonto Natural Bridge is a waterfall natural bridge eroded by Pine Creek through travertine that was deposited by the same creek. It is located in Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, about 10 miles north of Payson, in Gila County, Arizona. The arch was named for the Tonto Apaches. Vreeland listed Tonto Natural Bridge as number 12-25 in his catalog and reported a span of 45 feet. The tunnel-shaped opening is 387 feet in lenth.
