Example Cave Natural Arch

NABSQNO 14R-562246-3394804. Sam Bass Arch is a young cave natural arch with multiple openings. The area of the roof that has not collapsed is larger than the total area of all the opening entrances. Hence, the arch is considered young. It is located at the entrance to Longhorn Caverns, a state park a few miles west of Burnet, Texas.

Sam Bass, a once infamous local outlaw, is said to have made the caverns his hideout on occasion. No fee is charged to visit the arch.
