It is located on the Navajo Reservation about 2 miles east of Navajo, in McKinley County, New Mexico. Access requires a permit from the Navajo Tribal Headquarters in Window Rock, Arizona, as well as a Navajo guide. It has a span of about 15 feet. "Knob Arch" has been proposed as an unofficial name for this arch.
