It is located above Slaughter Canyon in Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Eddy County, New Mexico. Access is via Park hiking trails in Slaughter Canyon that start from the New Cave parking area. Several other smaller arches can be seen along the hike through Slaughter Canyon. Voler Arch is named for Frank Voler who made the first reported sighting. It has a span of about 14 feet and a height of about 8 feet. Vreeland included this arch in his catalog as number 17-25.
