NABSQNO 13S-263010-3866235. This unnamed shelter natural arch has eroded through an outcrop of Zuni sandstone. It is located less than a mile north of the Acoma Pueble Visitor Center on the Acoma Reservation, Cibola County, New Mexico. Even though it is easily visible from a paved highway, the services of a guide must be obtained before visiting the arch and a special fee is required for taking any photos. The photo above was taken from the west side of the arch. Most visitors will be satisfied with photos from the highway which runs east of the arch. However, the fee for photos must still be paid at the Visitor Center.
The arch has a span of about 10 feet. Vreeland listed this arch as number 17-102 in his catalog.
