It is located on BLM land about 2 miles east of Cedar Hill, San Juan County, New Mexico. The land is leased for natural gas production and several wells are nearby. The largest opening has a span of 29 feet, a height of 19 feet, a width of 10 feet, and a thickness of 2 feet. The secondary opening has a span of 6 feet. Vreeland included this arch in his catalog as number 17-14.
