NABSQNO 13S-261098-3867619. Eye of the Moon is a fin natural arch with an oval opening. This opening has enlarged to the point where the base is nearly at ground level. Hence, it would be easy to mistake it for a shelter arch. It is eroded through a thin fin of Zuni sandstone. It has a span of 18 feet and a height of 23 feet.

Eye of the Moon is on the Acoma Reservation, New Mexico. The services of a guide must be obtained before visiting the arch and a special fee is required for taking any photos. The arch is in an area of religious significance to the Acoma people, so visitation is not always allowed. Because the location of this arch has been published elsewhere, it is also included here. Do not attempt to visit this arch without permission.
