Lover's Leap is a promontory of Munising Formation sandstone that projects into Lake Superior along the coast of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. A sea natural arch has eroded through this point of land to create one of the many attractions of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Access is via commercial boat tours out of Munising, Michigan. It is listed in the Vreeland catalog as number 14-3. Vreeland reported a span of 20 feet and a height of 15 feet in 1975. In the intervening years, wave action has enlarged the opening to at least double those numbers.
