Rifle Arch, Garfield County, Colorado

NABSQNO 13S-258845-4390325. Rifle Arch is a buttress natural arch eroded through Williams Fork sandstone. It is located in the Grand Hogback about 7 miles north of Rifle, in Garfield County, Colorado. It can be viewed to the north from several points along Colorado Highway 13. Closer access is possible via a hiking trail that climbs up to the arch from this highway. Rifle Arch has a span of about 60 feet.
