Arch in the Sky has very few visitors due to its remote location in formations at the eastern-most end of Cummings Mesa, on Navajo land in Arizona. The photo above shows the interesting formation that contains the arch. The closer view in the photo below includes a person in a white shirt (Harvey Leake), which provides some idea of the size of this large arch. He is standing well below the opening, in front of a rock wall. The arch is number 12-8 in the Vreeland catalog.
