NABSQNO 12S-693800-4137910. East Rock Creek Canyon Arch is an alcove arch that has eroded through Entrada sandstone. It is located above the eastern fork of Rock Creek, in the ridge that separates Rock Creek Canyon and Sand Canyon, on land managed by the BLM, about 12 miles west of Cortez, in Montezuma County, Colorado. This area is part of the Canyon of the Ancients National Monument. It is accessed via good hiking trails that begin at a car park on paved Road G, which connects with US Highway 491. There are several Anazasi ruins in this area, especially in Sand Canyon. East Rock Creek Canyon Arch has a span of about 35 feet.
