San Roque Arch is a buttress natural arch eroded through a slab of Coldwater sandstone that has been tilted by the techtonic movement of the Pacific Plate under the North American Plate. It is located above a side tributary of San Roque Canyon, on private property, about 4 miles northwest of Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County, California. The County and the landowner have designated a conservation easement that permits the public to access the arch. San Roque Arch has a span of about 40 feet.
