This odd-shaped arch is in the City of Rocks National Reserve
in southern Idaho. There are several routes to the Reserve, but
an easy route is to take Exit 245 off I/S 84 (Sublett Exit), drive
west toward Malta (there is a joggle at Malta), continue on through
Elba and Almo. The Reserve is about 2 miles west of Almo.
Dozens of spans have been documented in the Reserve in recent
years. This one is just a short walk. Park in the parking area
opposite Bath Rock and look for Campsite No. 14. A trail-head
signed "Window Rock" leads to the arch. Continuing along the
ridge a short distance leads to "Fuzz Ball Arch" and "Bean Pod
Arch" (both in the same rock).
