On the island of Malta, the Blue Grotto is one of the main tourist attractions. Situated on the south coast near the village of Zurrieq, the Blue Grotto (named for the deep blue of the water) consists of a series of caves and a spectacular arch. Boats take tourists into the Grotto and through the arch. Photo by Ray Millar.
