Hvitserkur
NABSQNO 27W 516756 7276046 Iceland

This double arch in Iceland is named Hvitserkur. The name means "white shirt" and is due to the deposits of bird droppings that stain the rock. The left opening is about 13 feet wide and 13 feet high. The right opening is about 22 feet wide by 6 feet high. It can be reached by road 771, sign-posted for Hvitserkur (Crete Sir Kur) off Iceland Highway 1 well north of the capital city of Reykjavik. Photo by Ray Millar.
