Tunnel Hill, China
NABSQNO 49R-429210-2793230 China

Tunnel Hill (sometimes translated as "Pierced Hill") is located in Guilin, China. It punches through a limestone hill, and there is a nice paved trail up to the opening. The span is 45 feet and the depth is 100 feet. The bottom of the opening has been cemented over and there are concrete picnic tables inside. It is a favorite hangout for locals in the hotter months when a breeze through the tunnel provides some relief from the heat and humidity. Photo and measurements by David Brandt-Erichsen.
