This natural arch is located on the lower section of the canyon of Rimouren near the village of Saint-Montant in the Ard\u00e8che department of France. The opening has a measured span of 18 feet. Barri is an old Proven\u00e7al name for a rocky ledge. Barri Trou\u00e9 is named (but not precisely located) on the IGN topographic map Top 25 number 2939 West Gorges de l’Ard\u00e8che (pleat B9).<\/p>\n
