Three Small Arches

These three little arches in Bryce Canyon N.P. are just a short distance up the "Mossy Cave Trail". Entering the Park from the west on Utah Rt.12, instead of turning right on Utah 63 into the main part of the Park, go straight ahead on Rt. 12. The road soon descends the Pink Cliffs in a long grade near the bottom of which there is a parking turnout and marked trailhead on the right. It is just a short walk on this trail to these interesting formations. What appears to be an arch (third from the left) is really two overlapping formations. |
