Double Arch on Jordan’s Delight
This arch is located in Maine on the northwest coast of the small island of Jordan’s Delight. The Island is east of Bar Harbor and SSE of the town of Milbridge. It is south of Dyer Island and east of Bois Bubert Island. Visitation permission may be obtained from the Maine Coast Heritage Trust, 1 Main St. Topham, ME. Phone (207)729-7366. The larger opening has a span of 17 ft. and the smaller, 5 ft. The arch can be accessed only by boat and at low tide. A possible launch site for a small boat is on Pigeon Hill Road above Chitman Point. Map name USGS 7.5’ Bois Bubert. UTM 18 1071022.76E 494626.83N.
