Squaw Finger Arch
Craig Shelley's name for this Arch. Traveling on I-70, take the Fruita Exit, onto Colorado Rt. 340. Turn right at the Colorado N.M. and ascend the Mesa in switchbacks. Stop at the Visitors Center and obtain a map showing the various hiking trailheads. To see this Arch, start at the upper Monument Canyon Trailhead and hike to the Canyon bottom. Hike up the creek bed for the Squaw Finger Canyon that is farthest southeast. The Arch is near the end of the Canyon on the left.
