Ring Arch is in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park.
It is located in the East Fork of Salt Creek south of the turnoff to
Angel Arch. Because of the closing of Salt Creek to vehicular
traffic (2004) it would be a long hike (roughly 18 miles) to the
arch from the north. This is one of the major arches in the Park,
having a span of 100 feet and a vertical opening of 125 feet.
This photo by Rob Jones was taken on a recent trip (May 2004).
