Natural Bridge, Alabama
From the town of Natural Bridge northwest of Birmingham, Alabama, drive west on Rt. 278 for 2 3/4 miles to the arch. This arch is said (by some) to be the longest arch east of the Rocky Mountains; but its span is variously reported as 30 ft. by the World Arch Database, 125 ft. by another source, and 148 ft. by yet another source.
