Mosquito Arch

Go north from Moab on Rt. 191 and turn left onto Rt. 313 (road to Island-in-the-Sky District and Deadhorse Point State Park). About 13 miles from the turnoff, a four-wheel-drive trail turns left. There may be a sign "Gemini Arch" at the turnoff. About 4 3/4 miles down this trail take a right turn at a fork. The arch becomes visible a little less than 2 miles down this fork. There are also several other arches in this area. The BLM has closed some four-wheel-drive trails in this area, so it would be wise to check at the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) office in Moab |
