Hidden Canyon Arch
This small but attractive arch is in Zion National Park. Enter the Park from the town of Springdale and take the left turn into Zion Canyon. Park at the well-marked Weeping Rocks trailhead. Hike toward the Weeping Rocks, then take a trail which branches to the right from the Weeping Rocks Trail This trail ascends steeply in a series of switchbacks. Follow this trail for about a mile to a marked spur trail leading to Hidden Canyon. Hike up Hidden Canyon for 10 or 15 minutes keeping a sharp eye out for the arch which will appear on the right. Please read the Disclaimer on the Home Page. There are fairly long stretches where the trail is on the edge of a steep cliff. There are railings along these stretches, but the hike is still not for the faint-of-heart. Photo by Robert O'Connell
