Corona Arch
In the author's opinion this is the best looking arch in Utah. One reason that it is so spectacular is that it projects out from a cliff making its opening clear from both sides. It is located in a natural amphitheater above Bootlegger Canyon. From Rt. 191 north of Moab , turn left onto Rt. 279 (the Potash Mine Rd.). Drive down this road until the parking area for the arch appears on the right, and a campground on the left. The marked trail starts at the parking area. The arch is visible across the amphitheater (see Corona and Bowtie from across the amphitheater). The trail ascends steep steps leading to a ledge which goes around to the arch. The opening has a span of 110 feet.
