Aqueduct Arch
Not inside Canyonlands National Park, Aqueduct Arch lies in a side canyon of Harts Draw east of the needles District. It is accessible from the road into the Needles District, Rt. 211. Along this road, about 9 miles from the Rt. 191 turnoff, a dirt road turns north. If you find yourself at Newspaper Rock, you have missed the turn-off. About 10 miles up this dirt road, a 4wd road turns to the right. Drive on this trail for about 3 miles, or near its end. Walk south to the canyon rim to view the arch. This great-looking arch has a vertical opening of 80 feet and a horizontal opening of 30 feet. Photo by Mr. Joe Ruby (amateur radio call sign KC7GHT).
